It’s one of the greatest games Valve has ever made and it’s one of the most enduring online multiplayer games of all time with a sizable player base even after 12 years and plenty of competitors who came and went. There’s something here for everyone to enjoy: a timeless Pixar-like art style, fast-paced chaotic gameplay, a ludicrous degree of player customization, the lack of a price tag, and especially the characters. And we’re not just talking about Mann Co’s proud batch of mercenaries, TF2’s lore is deceptively rich with characters that span the full moral compass. A few are good, most are pretty bad, and some would take evil as a compliment. We left no stone unturned with this one- looking at the game itself along with the Meet the Team videos and the official TF2 comics so we could be as thorough as possible.
