I saw Nolan Arenado HIT FOR THE CYCLE at Citizens Bank Park!
I was here to catch Paul Goldschmidt's 300th home run but witnessed some OTHER history -- and guess what? This is the 4TH TIME that I've seen a cycle! The first was Randy Winn at Great American Ball Park in 2005, and yes, I wrote a blog entry about it: https://mlblogssnaggingbaseballs.wordpress.com/2005/08/16/81505-at-great-american-ball-park/ The 2nd cycle that I saw was Jose Reyes at Shea Stadium in 2006, and there's a blog entry about that one too: https://mlblogssnaggingbaseballs.wordpress.com/2006/06/22/62106-at-shea-stadium/ Fast-forward 11 years to the YouTube era. I saw Trea Turner accomplish the feat at Coors Field, and here's my video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I73szV2nfYs And now I can add Nolan Arenado and Citizens Bank Park to my list! Sorry there's not better footage of him crushing the ball, but I was here on my own and filming the action (from 400 feet away) with my iPhone and GoPro. Shoutout to Brett and Oscar from the Phandemic Krew (@phandemic_krew). Check out the video I did with them outside the stadium in 2020 when fans were not allowed inside: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XS3NMMpENW8 Also, if you like the "Zack Hample" shirt that I was wearing during this Nolan/cycle game, pick one up for yourself here: https://www.zackhample.com/merch This game took place on July 1, 2022, and the video was edited by Zack Gutherman (@zg_films). Many thanks to him for his excellent work and thanks to YOU for watching!
