How to Sew Facing/Zipper Edges to Enclosure Curtains

Boat enclosure curtain panels usually have a canvas or vinyl border that is sewn around the perimeter of the vinyl window material. In this tutorial we’re going to show you how to cut and make your own facing strips and sew them on window material. You’ll learn how to measure and pattern your curtain; how to hem, baste and sew your facing strips; how to sew zippers; and how to sew binding in certain sides of the panel to hide raw edges.
