The two wives of Mr. Big then extend sympathies/condolences to each other and offer coolness to their respective burns. The child-less Carrie learns that Natasha has two sons and is advised to un-follow each other on Instagram to keep it distanced. Carrie appears to have arrived at an understanding with Natasha - who is not interested in the money offered by Mr. Finance - after being stormed by the million dollar question, she tries to un-puzzle with her friends, earlier in the episode. Overall, this scene which takes a pacifying turn is still an iconic reminder of Natasha lecturing Carrie in S03E17 that she is a home-wrecker and husband-snatcher despite the newspaper-Dior-dress by John Galliano she's just strutted in: "Yes. I'm sorry about it all. I'm sorry he moved to Paris and fell in love with me. I'm sorry that we ever got married. I'm sorry he cheated on me with you, and I'm sorry that I pretended to ignore it for as long as I did. I'm sorry I found you in my apartment, fell down the stairs and broke my tooth.
